  • STEP #4 - Respond to the funder decision.  Finally, respond to the funder decision, whether approved or not with a "thank you."  And, if you didn't get funded, ask for and listen to feedback from the funder, then if possible resubmit... you're chances of being funded will double.  If for some bizarre reason you are not funded a second time, ask for and listen to what the funder has to say.  Then, if possible reapply.  Research shows that you're almost guaranteed to be funded on the the third go around.
